Lap Swimming
Lap Lane Swim is from 5:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. and SAYOR (Swim at Your Own Risk) begins at 10:00 a.m. During SAYOR swim, it is not mandatory to swim laps however, during Lap Lane Swim hours, swimmers should be actively swimming laps.
Please be mindful of fellow Lap Lane swimmers and avoid merging into or obstructing a lane that is already in use.
Greatwood Pool 2 is a swim at your own risk pool area and therefore does not have lifeguards on duty. To access this pool area, residents must be 18 years of age or older and the management team must have a signed waiver on file.
Homeowners may sign either the Lap Lane Waiver, the Swim at Your Own Risk (SAYOR) Waiver, or both, depending on the type of access they would like. Once completed, the waiver(s) will be saved to your resident file. These forms only need to be submitted once and do not need to be completed each year.
In order to utilize the pool during lap lane swimming, a waiver must be submitted to the Greatwood HOA management team. Once completed, access will granted to your assigned access card.
We would also like to mention that the access card readers have all been updated to the new Brivo system. This will allow residents to use their current access card or a mobile pass for entry at every Greatwood amenity. Mobile passes will be assigned by the management team upon request and there’s a limit of (2) mobile passes per household. Once the access notification is sent to your email and you’ve downloaded the Brivo Pass App, it will allow residents to open amenity doors/gates with their phones. Resident access cards or mobile passes are required to access all pool areas and your Greatwood account must be current and in good standing. Any children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or an adult 18 years of age or older.
